Ultrasonic Cleaning Systems for Complex Parts

Ultrasonic Parts Washers

NexGen ultrasonic parts washers are engineered to clean components that can’t be effectively cleaned by manual scrubbing, high-pressure sprays, or chemical soaking alone. Using high-frequency sound waves and cavitation, these systems remove oils, inks, greases, and microscopic residues from even the most complex geometries, all without damaging the part or exposing workers to harsh solvents.

What is Ultrasonic Cleaning?

Ultrasonic cleaning works by transmitting high-frequency sound waves through a cleaning solution, creating microscopic bubbles that implode on the surface of the part. This process — known as cavitation — dislodges contaminants from surfaces, blind holes, and internal channels that traditional cleaning methods can’t reach.

It’s a highly effective, hands-free method for cleaning:

Precision-machined components

Cylindrical rollers and engraved surfaces

Small or delicate parts

Assemblies with internal passages or fine features

Key Benefits of Ultrasonic Cleaning

NexGen systems combine high-frequency cavitation with smart control technology to deliver reliable, consistent cleaning for complex or sensitive components.
No mechanical abrasion or risk to part geometry
Effective in hard-to-reach areas (micro cavities, grooves)
High-capacity tanks up to 2m³
Smart generator with impedance monitoring
Configurable by part size, material, contamination type

System Models

Systems like the VU Series support up to 2m³ cleaning volume, while models like the LRC 20-4 can clean four gravure cylinders simultaneously. For small part or label-focused operations, the LP and LA NW Series provide compact, high-precision options — cleaning up to six anilox sleeves at once.
